For one of our top clients from the financial sector, we are looking for an experienced UI Developer with React.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.
The position is hybrid, contract duration - 5 months (possibility of extension), B2B contract.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join the team building a firm-wide Risk platform. This strategic platform serves as a cornerstone for market technology, supporting market risk managers and financial controllers with scalable, cloud-based solutions. The role involves working on computationally intensive financial projects within a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Rest APIs using Node.js.
- Optimize existing API endpoints to enhance performance and implement effective monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure high standards of governance and transparency.
- Work within a leading banking environment to develop modern risk system software.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience developing robust Rest APIs with Node.js (version 15 or above).
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Academic background: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Knowledge of derivatives and/or market risk in any asset class.
- Familiarity with streaming concepts and message brokers such as Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with Java 11+.
